Triana

Triana

According to my tour guide (I can’t find any evidence that this story is actually part of greek myth…) Hercules fell in love with a mortal woman, but I guess the gods were bored that day, so they banished the poor woman on threat of death and cursed Hercules, so he could never find her. While searching for his love he stumbled across Sevilla. Liking it, he decided to stay. Of course, in the vein of Greek tragedy and a cruel twist of fate, the woman he had been searching for was right across the river, in the city of Triana, but he would never find her.
